Icredibly angry about it really. Even if Im not activly using a service, I should be able to get that service as long as I am subscribed to it, and my bills are current (which they are). Virgin had no right AT ALL to deactivate my service (well theres probably something in the legalese that says they have every right, but Im sure you know where Im coming from).
The T&C's of service state the equipment should be permantly connected to the VM network (bar switching off overnight if you wish) The account isn't downgraded, but your smartcard just needed a "reminder" of the package you are on.
