Re: Internet 'porn' scam warning from Strathclyde Police

Hi Everyone,

If anybody is struggling to remove this virus then try (after rebooting your pc in safemode with networking by pressing F2 at the beginning of startup) downloading a program called: 'Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware'. After performing a quick scan not only did this program find the 'strathclyde porn scam virus' but a few weeks ago it also found and destroyed the 'blaster worm.32'. Thus, I highly recommend this program and it's completely free. And when I say completely free I mean it's COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE.

Good luck,
Rob

P.S. If you have any problems downloading and installing Malwarebytes' Ant-Malware when trying to remove the worm then you may need to change a system setting that enables the program to work properly when accessed in safe mode. This is because the worm prevents most programs from working and you thus need to disable a setting. Sorry I can't be of anymore help but if you Google it I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out. However, concerning the removal of the Strathclyde Police scam there shouldn't be a problem.

P.P.S. So what you've watched a bit porn - go easy on yourself :-)
