Well I think that any significant change that is "Coming Soon ..." is an on topic post here including but not limited to channels being dropped or renamed. As for speculative posts with no basis in fact ... I agree that multiple contradictory speculative responses with no basis in fact are pointless.
Personally I don't think that VM will drop E! because it is the only channel they have with an exclamation point in its name just as Westward Ho! is the only town in the UK with an exclamation point in its name!
