I take personal responsibility for my bills, and check them annually to (try to) ensure I am getting best value - what I don't expect companies to do is to run at a loss to keep me.

I understand initial deals for new customers, as any company needs to attract new business as well as reduce churn, but as long as those initial deals are short-term (3-6 months), I don't have an issue with that.

However, if I find that they are lasting longer, then it is time for a chat.
