Re: lost episodes of Dr Who found

I think the exciting thing about these episodes from a TV history point of view is not at that they were lost, but that they have never been seen in the UK since their original airing. There were no repeats, something we take for granted in this digital age. The only Brits who have ever seen them are the ones who sat down in front of their TVs those Saturday teatimes in 1965 and 1967 (and a few people who watched a private screening in the mid 1980s when the spools found their way into a film enthusiasts hands).
