so if i was to install the bt i-plate which blocks the interefrence from the bell wire it would then have a seperate modem jack at the master socket as well as the rj11 phone jack socket.

if that was the case i dont think i would require any adsl filters for phones etc. as the iplate negates the need for any in the house? and then i could run a hi-speed modem cable direct from the master socket to the router. this would simplify my cabling even further.

what do you think?
