As has been stated, fast download speeds don't guarantee good pings. If I'm honest, Virgin Media don't have the best reputation for good pings. I did have better pings (at peak time at least) with BE, but having said that, I do get 15ms or so quite often.

I will say, your downstream power levels are a tad high, might be worth having them looked at.
