Does anyone have any idea why Sky Sports News HD and Sky News HD is not on Virgin Media because they are both basic Sky HD channels and Virgin Media have rights to any Sky basic HD channels for a incremental wholesale fee.
I would like to see Sky Sports News HD.
I can only guess Sky are asking too high a incremental wholesale fee

There are suggestions on other forums that SKY might be considering allowing their customers to use other ISP's to deliver SKY Anytime, especially with Anytime arriving on Virgin Media. Do you think Virgin could get access to SKY Atlantic HD, SKY Sports 3 & 4 HD, SKY Sports News HD and SKY News HD if they offer SKY a preferential deal to offer broadband to their customers? The deal would be similar as to how SKY channels are delivered to Virgin customers. Virgin customers are not SKY customers, it's Virgin themselves who are the customer of SKY. So SKY customers taking Virgin broadband via SKY, would still be getting the service from SKY but SKY would be the customer of Virgin. Does this make sense?
