Why are VM staff defending an app that is so clearly lacking essential, routinely used features?
I am not defending the app. I am simply stating Spotify has been around for ages on other platforms and I'm happy with them. TiVo app is just a bonus extra for me as its just out and I've already been a spotify subscriber for months.

My Mac is silent and has a good speaker system attached and if listening to music would be loud enough to drown out any fan noise ;-) Also good earphones for my phone means spotify on the go. For most people they will use the PC and phone apps most of the time where as via TiVo will probably be for occasional use.
