Re: VMNG300 > Superhub worth it yet?

Well i upgraded to 100mb from 50mb and kept my VMNG300, but decided to give the superhub a try..

The first day was ok, but after that things went downhill rapidly, wi-fi issues, speed issues unable to get more than 300k on newsgroups whatever server i used ssl or not!!!

It seems the superhub has some sort of onboard traffic management system where it looks at what's coming in, and slows you down accordingly.

(Or maybe its just garbage)

Note putting the superhub in modem mode made no difference at all!!!

After 3 days i went back to my VMNG300, and my trusty DIR-615 with dd-wrt and everything was well with the world again, Still need to get a gigabit router though!

No weird slowdowns, no newsgroup issues, no rubbish wi-fi.
