This is an interesting one.

You see people with absolutely ridiculous discounts, saving a ton of money, and people who work for VM will say that these are all going to be ended or it was a one off.

Then you see people again with absolutely ridiculous discounts because they got a hold of the right person on the phone. Their service runs fine, they're perfectly happy customers who weren't going to cancel anyway but they got a hold of someone who wanted the commission from 'retaining' them.

In short it seems to be a total lottery. whenever people say that VM are tightening the deals that people can blag it seems to just be a question of time before that goes out of the window and the commission horny retentions agents will offer to supply a harem of beautiful women and all services for free for the rest of your natural life in return for not cancelling even though you quite obviously had no intention of doing so in the first place and were on your 10th phone call to them fishing for a deal.
