Re: M5 shut as 'several people' die in 27-vehicle crash

My sympathies go with the families of the deceased people.

Reports are saying that this tragic accident was caused by heavy rain and fog, l have been driving for the past twenty years and to me the speed limit on motorways should NOT have been increased, we still have nutters on the road that will think they are jack the lad and speed, With Juggernauts, its a dangerous game when a any vehicles speed and tries to 'jump' the lorry, as they can easily jackknife cause accidents.

I always remember several years ago driving back from Cambridge in thick fog, and l was doing about 35 miles an hour, l still had vehicles whizzing past me.

I also feel that traffic cameras should be on motorways for speeders.

RIP
