the information above refers more to the modem side of things dude as it is related to your outside connection to the CMTS, and your power levels and everything look fine. What speed you achieve internally on your lan (especially wireless) is completely independant of what you get going off to the internet.
All your problems would be fixed if 1) you put the hub into modem mode (disables the routing side of things) and 2) got a seperate router for your routing
I deliberarelty said "seperate" and not "another" because you don't want just "another" router, especially not from VM. It would be a worthwhile investment (talking years here) if you bought your own "proper" router which has been designed and tested properly and you can be confident is fit for purpose (in comparison to the superhub). It is going to cost you £40-50 but it would defo be a worthwhile investment long term.
I would personally recommend Linksys, I have been using them for years and they have never failed me. Other forum members will recommend other brands for different reasons and everyone has their own preference, suffice to say though, I think anything you get will be better than what you have got atm.
