Hey guys n galls ,had a search but i cant find a reply that i understand (computer illiterate)
So i am happily surfing around and my connection just goes? I open that
open network and sharing centre (bottom rt hand corner)it shows that i am connected to my router ? (Netgear) but the actual connection to the internet has a red cross.
I turn off the power to modem turn back on and connection comes back ,its a pain in the behing though as the modem is upstairs.
Its a blue modem i have which is prob 5plus years old.supplied by ntlworld.
No idea what my connection speed is
but i pay £17 a month just for BB.
Im pretty clueless with all these techy terms so please go easy
Your advice would be well appreciated.
