parenting classes for young mums

Quote:
Free parenting classes are to be trialled for all parents with children under the age of six in three areas of England, children's minister Sarah Teather has said.About 50,000 parents in Middlesbrough, High Peak, and Camden will be offered vouchers for the classes from mid-2012.

It's absolutely pathetic that we need to provide via the tax payer ,money to teach young mums how to look after their children .It used to be that the parents and grandparents took care of that but since a lot of the parents are just as bad i suppose something has to done by the state .It will be interesting to see who is given the job of teaching these kids how to be a parent ,progressive social workers with no children or will they ask parents with plenty of experience to take the reigns
