Re: Getting a re-pull

It is unlikely they need to disturb anything inside the house. A repull is the cable from the street cabinet to the box on the outside of your house.

In most cases they can use the existing ducting hose already laid under your garden. Sometimes that has deteriorated and has to be renewed in which case they would need to dig a slit in the garden for a renewed duct, same as if it were a completely new install.

There seems to be a lot of unnecessary fuss here. If the techs have decided there is a need for a repull, get it done. Services may be working now, but are probably on the edge of a precipice and you don't want them to fail at a critical time because you were faffing around and not wanting it to happen.
