Around here many of the butchers and fast food outlets only provide halal meat now, so I'm boycotting those that admit to it. One "western" butcher says 99% of whole and portioned chickens are halal now, there is hardly any choice any more.
Oddly, a flyer was posted through the door recently that exclaimed "All our meats is halal" (sic). And the first item on the menu was ham and pepperami pizza!
