Re: The iPhone thread

I've just checked Vodafone's website... the "£59 pre-order cashback" has ended...And miraculously the upfront costs of the phone have been reduced

https://www.vodafone.co.uk/brands/ip...hone/index.htm

e.g.

- 24 month contract at £36 per month: 16GB 4S was £159 upfront - £59 pre-order cashback = £100. Now it is £99, the same as the other networks...

- 18 month contract at £36 per month: 16GB 4S was £259 - £59 pre-order cashback = £200. Now it is £169, again around the same as the others which do 18 month contracts (e.g. on the equivalent O2 tariff it's £169.99 upfront... Orange & T-Mobile don't seem to have 18 month info up, and Three only does 24 month contracts).

My bill varies between about £350 and £450 per month (depending on how many calls are made from overseas).

So looking at the graphs, I don't think I have a bad package.
I think it's safe to assume that the Guardian used standard personal tariffs and prices.
