I assume they used a yearly average of inflation rather than just 1 month?

you'll just get less for the same price or a bit cheaper. they might even sell halve loaves. shops are in it to make money, and they're already on the ball with that one.
Does that fool the measure of inflation? or are they intelligent enough to account quantity as well?
