Just to follow this up, my TiVo box has been running like a dream up until yesterday evening when I was watching a recording!

Is it definitely going to be a faulty box or could it be somehow related to the signal levels etc? I'm just not looking forward to the thought of having to set up all my series links again and teach the new TiVo my likes and dislikes.
