There was a offer at a local super market of Extra Value 1 Kg box of cereral but it was actually cheaper to buy two 500 g boxes for 50p less! A lot of shoppers would just see the Extra Value and buy that thinging it was cheaper but in actual fact dearer which is what the super markets want!

Offers are very often a con to make you buy items you don't need, most super markets are the same.
