I just wish that if any supermarket is going to do offers on perishable foods they wouldn't do BOGOF types as that is just wasteful when I'm not going to get through both items before one expires.

totally agree...I rarely buy those offers because mostly it will get wasted, and I generally have a rule that I eat everything I buy. Makes me slightly risk averse, when you buy something crap, nothing worse than the dilemma of weighing waste vs dire food.
