My installation has been finished! (he called beforehand, arrived on time, he knew what he was doing so everything went well - 0 problems).
Just have a few questions about the modem
1. There is a 3db forward path attenuator attached to the modem - i know its to do with steadying the signal, but i heard that signals can
change overtime so i may not need it in the future.
Does it have any adverse affects in regards to speed, downloads, gaming etc?
2. In the modem services page there are firewall features, passthroughs, multicast and flood detection enabled.
Do i need these really?
