I am actually amazed by the speed at which things are developing, and the way we watch TV is likely to look rather different from how it is now within the next 5 years.

Have you got a source for the BBC catchup not coming anytime soon ? I already have hundreds of movies available on Sky Anytime+ as will VM Sky Movie subscribers soon. You seem to think that streaming services will kill Sky despite them already having their own streaming service Sky Go.
