It's probably not the wifi manager but instead some sort of laptop proprietary software with form of profile that's disabling the wifi on AC
From experience of designing such things, they can radiate from DC to Xrays

It's not what they are radiating in-band. it's the cheap front ends of WiFi that can get crunched from out of band signals.
