Yes a very valid point , I've used both and for me I have likes and dislikes of both , hitting the My Shows could be a little quicker however most other things are fast enough for the most demanding of users. I like the look of the discovery bar and the channel logos look good , text input could be easier however that is defo going to change
For me Sky's EPG is clean looking , intuitive and pretty responsive with all the key features , this is really a subject what is down to preference. My friend who's TIVO I've used swears by his suggestions now and says his hours spent thumbing up and down has paid dividends
The TIVO companion iPad app looks superb and will be a great feature when launched soon.
