I'm trying to complete this offer:
http://shop.virginmedia.com/existing...broadband.html I called and the salesperson was aware of the offer, however said that I would need to pay a difference of £4.50'ish on top of my current bill (as well as the one-off fee).
She said this was because I am currently on the 'XXX' deal, I believe because I have XL TV, phone and broadband and that because this deal would then no longer be valid the upgrade would not apply to me. So I checked my bill and it says I'm currently paying £37 a month for broadband, with a discount of £28 (listed as 'Sky Premiums Combo Loyalty Discount'). However the offer at the above web address says that after the upgrade I'll pay just £18.50 a month for my broadband.
Why am I paying £37 a month for XL(20) broadband when this offer allows for a monthly cost of £18.50 in addition to an increase in broadband speed?
Thanks, any snippets from my bill wanted just ask.
