Re: Thinking of getting TiVo

I'd been thinking about getting a TIVO for a while ... ordered a TIVO 500GB a couple of days ago, when I eventually got the mrs to agree, I had a choice between paying VM to move my existing second box, or taking TIVO for £49 activation, with my current V+ box moved for free (and cancelling my existing second box [VHD] so I am actually £3.50 a month better off after the TIVO fee), getting a TIVO and keeping the V+ box was a no brainer - I've seen the TIVO in a VM store so just can't wait to get it installed now (got to wait until October for an install date)!

If you currently ahve any additional boxes then assuming they can offer you a similar deal you may be able to save some money long term which may help towards the 49/99 activation fee?
