Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was gifted an iPod for my bday a few years ago and my parents were gifted an iPhone in June 2011, so iTunes is already on the system

I think in a little while I will take my parents to Currys and show them the iPad and other tablets, and let them decide
... will let them know about the pro's and cons from this thread after so that they can make an informed decision
