So maybe is a better question is - should I get a free V HD box instead of a 2nd Tivo one?

Will the multiroom in future be: Anything recorded on Tivo then be viewable on V HD box?

Also I'm still confused about the cable for the V HD box. Can I simply plug a Tivo in later to enjoy full funcionality of the Tivo or does it need an 'upgraded' cable?
