I think she may have a point..Because during previous riots of the past we didn't have news 24/7 available to watch and we only got the news from radio,TV and newspapers.
We also didn't have ready access to the internet which shows stuff the TV stations wouldn't and allows mass communication at the touch of a few buttons.
