Change the MAC address of the device you connect to your modem, if possible. That should cause the VM network to issue a new IP.

Bear in mind that there is a limited pool of IP addresses available to you in your local area due to the way the cable Internet system works, so if you're trying to change your IP to get round some sort of block or ban that has been placed on you, this is not a trick you can use repeatedly. All you're liable to do is to annoy a site admin enough to make him block the entire range for your part of the network. So behave!
