Once again it comes done to money. ITV were presumably asking silly prices to carry these channels when they launched last year. Sky were prepared to pay, VM were (still are?) not.

Same presumably applies to the UKTV HD channels due to launch shortly.
Didn't Sky help out with the infrastructure as part of the deal?
