I can see where you re coming from there my V+ though fast forwards at 32x is the TiVo much faster then that? the ads just whizz by on mine as i cannot stand them either but if that has changed the way you watch tv so much the better.

I know what you mean about fast forwarding on sky sports news too,all the football froth (Rooneys new hair transplant ect) just gets binned,and i can catch the cricket news.
