Don't watch live TV at all now. As well as everything mentioned above I've started watching 100x more televised films. Before I could only watch pictures shown on the BBC as Francis Ford Coppala never intended the Go Compare guy to pop up 15 minutes into 'The Godfather' - with the super fast forward, TiVo wishlists and extensive EPG I've caught up with loads of classic films I've been meaning to watch for years.

Also, I like how if I start on Sky Sports News, for example, but watch a recorded programme I can rewind the previous 90 mins without recording it thus missing out on all the cricket pish and just watch the fitba news. The fact that it also does that when you first turn on the box is another doozie of a function.
