Scripps Networks Interactive is on the verge of buying Virgin Media’s 50% stake in UKTV, and the British broadcaster is preparing to follow the deal by launching a VoD player.

We may get the following as part of this deal:

-Broadcast is reporting that the new VoD player may launch on Virgin on Demand.
-We may also get Food Network as part of deal or we may see Good Food being rebrand as Food Network.
-Also part of any deal Virgin may get the rights to broadcast Eden +1, Eden HD and Yesterday +1 for the 1st time on Virgin Media.
