I'll be able to comment very shortly, once the engineer turns up this AM to fit mine!!

I personally don't use reminders, but I do feel for people who did use them. We all use equipment differently, I for one took a while to get used to the V+ box remembering where you had got to in the EPG as after having Sky it use to forget. I've now gotta get used to the other way again by the sounds of it!

All in all I'd say the pros for TiVo are going to outweigh the cons for my personal use, maybe not for others but for me it'll be worthwhile.
