I wanted to use winmx now and again but my transfers and downloads are very sluggish to what they have been and should be. I have a Linksys WRT54GSV7 router but using the DD-WRT firmware. I have forwarded ports to open in the router but if I use a program to check if they are open the program is telling me they are closed. I am using windows 7 and have only enabled the program to be unblocked by the firewall, it does not seem to matter what ports I choose they are still blocked, never had the problem before but something has changed that is restricting the up and download bandwidth, anyone got any ideas
