wifi browsing very slow - interference?

Hi all,
I'm sure my wifi has been getting slower recently and I'm trying to pinpoint what it might be. I have a WRT54G v2 router running DD-WRT and although doing speed tests show everything fine, pages seem slow loading on any website. I'm using the latest version of Firefox and I'm wondering if my issue is due to interference from neighbouring wifi networks.
Site surveys pick up two routers locally, one is I think two doors away, the other is my immediate next door neighbour (terraced house). Apparently they've been having lots of issues with their broadband so I'm wondering if there is a conflict somehow as accessing my router's web interface is really slow and there are ping drops.
Running WirelessMon it shows as follows:
My router (Linksys) - channel 1 - 500+ dropouts, -45dBm, Max RSSI -37
Next door (Belkin) - channel 6 - 500+ dropouts, Max RSSI -62
Next door but one (D-Link) - channel 12 - 30 dropouts, Max RSSI -66

Another has also appeared in the list and in a short period of time is already on 182 dropouts (Sagem mfr)

Based on the above it looks like the D-Link router seems really stable so I'm wondering if there could be an issue affecting my wireless performance and should get a new router...

Can anyone help or advise at all please?
