Cable Forum - View Single Post - no "Local area connection" LAN icon...disapeared. Please help?

Is this the little icon in the bottom right of the windows screen?

Go into the main control panel and network connections. Check the properties or the LAN connection. Somewhere in there there should be a check box to show icon when connected.
