What I'm saying is that it's possible due to EPG data that it 'thinks' one of the other episodes was the same as this one, so therefore didn't record. It's not that it thinks there's a rerun later - it thinks you already have it.

If what Adder says is true, then that will be the answer. Even if it wasn't the same episode if the EPG makes it think it's the same episode it won't record it.
