The V+ was great can't really call it and the software was pretty reliable the only issue I ever had was a couple of missed ending on live ESPNA sport but it wasn't that often. The TIVO trumps V+ in my eyes with it's HD screens the V+ epg is showing it's age. The main thing stopping me taking TIVO aside from channel range is EPG errors and lack of red button features none of the other minor bugs would put me off . As for catchup I have that available on my connected TV and PS3 granted not all channels , I have BBC Iplayer HD also , 4OD , ITV player and sky player.
