Just for the record I haven't rebooted mine now for nearly a month which is more stable than my V+ was initially.

I was an early adopter of Sky+HD , and there were problems with that , and an update would frequently cure a problem only for another to rear its head. It can be frustrating especially if it goes haywire when recording your favourite show.
