I dont get it, why off Suggestions? They are only that - suggestions - you don't have to watch them.
If you turn off this key feature then you may miss things you would have wanted and will lose the chance to discover new programmes you might like based on your current viewing preferences.
Its like buying a widescreen tv for the first time and then putting masking tape down either side to make the picture more like the shape you are used to!
