Netgear WNDR3700 or Linksys/Cisco WRT610N. Both can run DD-WRT very well, with great performance etc.

Personally, I use a WRT320N (pre-rebrand E2000) which is selectable 2.4/5GHz and has gigabit ports, with DD-WRT. I use a WRT160N (E1000) with DD-WRT as a bridge, and it works fine as that and as a router as well.
