A simple Sausage, mash, veg and onion gravy tends to be a favorite with just about everyone.. Just make sure it's a decent sausage gently cooked, the mash should be well cooked, mashed then mixed with a large knob of butter and about 1/6th cup of heated milk (90 secs in the microwave), veggies can be anything in season and the onion gravy is simple.. just gently fry the onions until soft then add a decent carton or instant gravy..

Instead of onion you can do Rosemary (lamb/pork/turkey) sage (pork or turkey sausages) or mint gravy (lamb sausages)...
