But you need to make sure you get one with the right connector for your TV. Check your TV manual to see which audio input it uses with DVI. If in doubt, post the TV model number here.

I have a cable that looks like the one you suggested (scart to red, white, yellow). I have plugged the scart into the VCR port at the back of the Samsung Virgin box and I have connected the red and white cables to the 2 matching audio inputs that sit next to my DVI socket on the back of the TV.
I then go into Virgin's setup menu, to the adjust audio and visual settings and switch to HDMI, which gives me a picture (no audio).
I have tried selecting override HDMI audio, but nothing changes (still no sound).
The cable I am using is a monster cable. I have also tried the exact same procedure with a cable that has red, white and yellow on each end of the wire, and plugging one end into my x-box scart converter - still no audio.
I am sure it is a simple matter, and that I am doing something very basic wrong, but I have spend 2 hours now and am getting a little frustrated.
I really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
