In regards to free to view, Why should virgin waste a tap port of someone who isn't paying? Why should they maintain a cable of someone who doesn't pay?

£49.99 for `activation` is very expensive in that case but for me that`s just a con to get more money from customers. As for not allowing ex-customers the right to use the box to watch free-to-air channels because they`re no longer paying for a tap point is just tight. Also the cable is there whether your a paying customer or not.

I didn`t get the offer of free multi room when they sent me a letter and leaflet. The leaflet says I can have my v+ box moved to another room for free but the standard multi room still applied. I used to have multi room but had it disconected about a year ago because I was sick of paying the extra £5 (as it was then) for something I rarely used. The cable is still all there so there wouldn`t be any instillation to do there,in fact I could do it myself.

The point I was making was why should we have to buy a box that is never yours to keep! As for repairs, surely the cost is included in your subs? I remember as a kid my family had Rediffusion tv,don`t remember dad having to pay for the tv AND pay rent, yet when something went wrong the set was repaired` free of charge`.
