The point is that TV rental is to dear and something that Virginmedia would not consider simply by virtue of the logistics involved with regards training and delivery for probably very little return.

Considering the price of a Television nowadays renting is a foolish option and even if the cost is prohibitive at present due to circumstances beyond your control then you can always go to the likes of Freecycle and get one for free.
