If it is a Tivo-imposed charge then I don't suppose it will ever come down or be scrapped. I'm sure that, in that case, VM will - eventually - start the usual incentives; like free install/activation - whenever they see fit. Just like they did with the V+

Also, don't forgot that Sky+ was, originally, £10 per month for all subscribers
